Gavin Robertson is no stranger to the Edinburgh Fringe. His hit West End show, ‘Thunderbirds F.A.B.’ started here, as have ‘Spittoon’, ‘Fantastical Voyage’ and even, back in 1987, ‘The Six-Sided Man’. He was in the original award-winning ‘Comedians’ version of ‘12 Angry Men’, with Bill Bailey, Phil Nichol, Owen O’Neill et al, directed by Guy Masterson at Assembly in 2003, and ‘One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest’ with Christian Slater in 2004. This year he’s teamed up with Nicholas Collett to present THE SIX-SIDED MAN:
“There are two rules: Never give the dice an option you're not prepared to follow, and never disobey the die!”
Darkly hilarious, quirky, seductive... inspired by Luke Rhinehart’s cult novel, ‘The Dice Man’. A disillusioned psychiatrist lives his life by giving options to a dice, and before long perceptions become twisted, ambiguity rules, and no-one is quite who you think they are!
The original novel has been said to 'change peoples’ lives' – come and find out why! Following performances in USA, Europe and more...
"Compelling to watch” Guardian
“A brilliantly unique combination of dialogue and movement, performed by two extraordinary performers” Luke Rhinehart (Author of ‘The Dice Man’)
